Frequently Asked Questions

The Admissions Office will post daily weather conditions at the ticket window.  If there is the possibility of a storm, it will be indicated by level of probability.  We DO NOT issue weather related refunds, so please check the daily weather forecast or call (585) 396-2000 prior to heading to Roseland Waterpark.

Some of the best days of summer start off with a questionable weather forecast. When it’s cloudy, crowds are at a minimum, the lines are short and there is even a chance you might get wet. What a great day to visit Roseland Waterpark!

While we don’t offer a refund for ticket purchases, we do make your visit risk free by assuring you that if we suspend operations due to lightning in the area for more than 90 minutes, you will receive either a BOGO or complimentary ticket to come back at a later date.

Here is what you need to know. In the event that the waterpark fully suspends operations on all rides for a total of 90 minutes or more, Bogo tickets will be issued to all guests who have been at the park for 4 hours or more and complimentary tickets will be given to guests who have been in the park under 4 hours.

Everyone in your party needs to have their proof of admission that day, either a ticket stub or receipt. All members of your party must be present with their proof of admission and all belongings, as receiving the return visit ticket will forfeit the rest of your day’s visit.

Our weather alert system is for your safety, while our weather warranty will guarantee your satisfaction.

Season Pass holders who may visit on any operating day are not eligible for a return ticket. Once rides reopen, return tickets will no longer be issued.

If you want to enter the park but do not want to enjoy any of the rides, you may purchase a Spectator Pass. A wristband will be issued and worn during the duration of the visit. Upon exiting the park, a $16 refund for spectator passes purchased in AM and a $9 refund for spectator passes purchased in PM, will be given to guests still wearing the wristband, dry and intact.  If you utilize a ride with the wristband on, the lifeguard will cut the wristband off and the refund will not be applicable.

Outside food and coolers are not allowed into the park. Picnic tables are located outside the admission gates where you may enjoy your lunch or a mid-day snack. There is a bag check at the gate entrance.  If food is found in your tote bag, you will be asked to return it to your car.  Food and beverages purchased inside the park may be enjoyed at many picnic areas located throughout the park.

Your admission ticket is good for the entire day and re-entry is allowed. Our gate keeper will stamp your hand on the way out to allow re-entry to the park.

Yes, we allow and supply wheelchairs for non-water use.  For the safety of yourself and others, please do not enter the Wave Pool in a wheel chair.  There is a $6 deposit which will be refunded upon return of the chair.  There is a limited supply of wheelchairs and they are available on a first come, first served basis.

Yes, we do provide life vests free of charge on a first come, first served basis.

You can use your own life vest if it is US Coast Guard approved and has passed an inspection by our Aquatics Director or one of our head lifeguards.
