Is the water heated?

Yes, the water is heated! That is what makes our park so unique. We like to keep the water heated to an average of 75 degrees.

What happens if it rains?

The Admissions Office will post daily weather conditions at the ticket window.  If there is the possibility of a storm, it will be indicated by level of probability.  We DO NOT issue weather related refunds, so please check the daily weather forecast or call (585) 396-2000 prior to heading to Roseland Waterpark. We do not close due to rain, however, we must evacuate the park at the first sign of thunder or lighting.  In this case, everyone will be asked to leave the park and will be allowed to re-enter when the storm has passed.  The waterpark is subject to close early due to inclement weather.

What if I don’t want to go on any of the rides?

If you want to enter the park but do not want to enjoy any of the rides, you may purchase a Spectator Pass. A wristband will be issued and worn during the duration of the visit. Upon exiting the park, a $15 refund for spectator passes purchased in AM and a $7 refund for spectator passes purchased in PM, will be given to guests still wearing the wristband, dry and intact.  If you utilize a ride with the wristband on, the lifeguard will cut the wristband off and the refund will not be applicable.

May we bring food into the park?

Outside food and coolers are not allowed into the park. Picnic tables are located outside the admission gates where you may enjoy your lunch or a mid-day snack. There is a bag check at the gate entrance.  If food is found in your tote bag, you will be asked to return it to your car.  Food and beverages purchased inside the park may be enjoyed at many picnic areas located throughout the park.

Once we’re in the park can we leave for a while and come back later?

Your admission ticket is good for the entire day and re-entry is allowed. Our gate keeper will stamp your hand on the way out to allow re-entry to the park.

Do you allow or supply wheelchairs?

Yes, we allow and supply wheelchairs for non-water use.  For the safety of yourself and others, please do not enter the Wave Pool in a wheel chair.  There is a $5 deposit which will be refunded upon return of the chair.  There is a limited supply of wheelchairs and they are available on a first come, first served basis.

Does Roseland Waterpark provide life vests?

Yes, we do provide life vests free of charge on a first come, first served basis.

Can I bring my own life vest?

You can use your own life vest if it is US Coast Guard approved and has passed an inspection by our Aquatics Director or one of our head lifeguards.

Is there a military discount at Roseland Waterpark?

Yes, we offer a discounted admission ticket ($23.95) for military members who are on active duty.  This discount off the regular admission ticket is offered any day during the operating season with the presentation of a military ID card.  This discount is not extended to family members or retired military personnel.
