All Mountain Expert Freeride XL:  Powder skis that do not behave like barrel staves on the hardpack are a new phenomenon in the industry this season.  Once you go fatter you may never return to  the old types.  Now the industry has developed a new category of freerider that defines a new breed of ski.  They are not as wide as the surfboards used in British Columbia.  They can now be used there if you want but also in the crud or corn, on soft groomers, or even the bumps (just a little expectations adjustment required).  The Demo Center also carries women's skis in this category.
