Lessons are 1.5 hours long. Supervision is provided from registration time until the start of the lesson for morning and all-day students. Children must be met in the Children's Learning Center immediately following the completion of their lesson.
Ski lessons are provided for children ages 4-12 and snowboarding lessons are provided for children ages 6-12. Private lessons are available for all ages and must be scheduled in advance by calling Guest Services at (585) 374-6000. Children under the age of 6 who wish to take snowboarding lessons must schedule a private lesson.
Whether you're introducing your kids to skiing for the first time or re-acquainting yourself after a 5-year hiatus, this is the program for you. It's an inexpensive, personalized introduction to what will hopefully lead to a lifetime of winter fun for the whole family. The starting point for every scheduled lesson is the Launching Pad Lodge - a charming day lodge with everything you need to enjoy the slopes from ski or snowboard rentals to a comfortable place where parents can relax and watch their kids take lessons. Program Cost: $89
Program includes three lift tickets and three 1.5 hour class lessons. First two sessions include 1.5 hour all-area lift tickets. The third session includes an 8-hour all-area lift ticket. The same instructor will teach all three sessions.
Add ski or snowboard rentals for all four sessions for just $30.
Lesson times are firmly scheduled. Missed lessons cannot be made up, switched to another class, or refunded.
Family lift ticket discounts are extended for the third session.
**As an added bonus, participants of the Get Skiing or Get Snowboarding Program receive a complimentary Keep Skiing or Snowboarding Card that extends a 20% discount on lift tickets, lessons, and equipment rentals for the entire season! This will be available for pick up in the Guest Services office after you receive program confirmation.

Junior Lessons (ages 8-12) meet in the Sunset Lodge Children's Learning Center with lessons available at regularly scheduled open lesson times (See "Children's Class Lesson" information at the top of this page.

4th Grade Passport Program
We are excited to bring the Passport Program to all 4th Graders! This program provides tremendous recreational opportunities for your children while experiencing the wonderful wintertime activities that our resorts can provide during the winter months!
