About Us »Facts

Bristol Mountain is located in the Western Finger Lakes of Upstate New York, right in the award winning wine country region.  Bristol boasts a summit elevation of 2200’ and a base elevation of 1000’.  The vertical of 1200’ allows Bristol Mountain to reign as the highest vertical between the Adirondack Mountains of the east and the Rocky Mountains of the west.  The views from the top of the mountain are magnificent, as are the paths down each of the 33 slopes and trails, including a peaceful 2-mile run.  Even at night, 96% of the trails have lighting.  The average snowfall of 130” coupled with the location directly east of Lake Erie and south of Lake Ontario provides an average snow base depth of 24-40".  Mother nature’s changes are minimized by Bristol's state-of-the-art snowmaking system, which covers 97% of the skiable terrain, to assure customers of continued quality skiing despite variable weather conditions.
